I’m not usually a liquid lipstick girl, so it has to be a really special formula to pique my interest, but that’s exactly what Dior’s Forever Liquid is. Perfect for party season courtesy of the Santa-approved red hue, the festive appeal doesn’t end there; when combined with the clever appearance glitter, this lippie truly embodies Christmas itself.
The doe foot applicator was a dream to apply with, too, and might be my favourite one I’ve ever come across. It features a sharp point for expert precision, and I didn’t even need a lip liner for guidance. I will say that despite what the packaging says this isn’t fully transfer proof, it smudged around my mouth when I ate my dinner, so that’s definitely something to be mindful of! Keep it in your bag for touch ups.

I'm not a lipstick girlie. At all. But when I saw these Dior Liquid Sequin that turned to a glitzy disco ball I had to give it a try. I went for the power crimson shade 999, it felt festive and perfect for party season. I'm obsessed with the almost heart shaped wand, it perfectly contours around the lip line and means that it gives you maximum coverage in a single swipe.
Now I came here for the glitter, so I could not wait to smack my lips together to reveal that epic glittery finish I saw all over TikTok. Okay, so maybe it didn't give me diamond encrusted sparkle, sure, but it definitely enhanced the shine and the pigment seemed more rich as soon as I pressed my lips together.
Very rarely are lipsticks transfer proof, but I have to admit, these, do-not-budge. Having pearlescent lips is a win for me, but I have to admit that if I were to spend £39 on it, I would have to try it in another shade.

If you've been on the hunt for the perfect party season lip, this. Is. It. I used the shade 620 "Seductive", which is a gorgeous berry-toned pink, with glitter and sparkle which appears when you rub your lips together. Application was easy - the applicator is shaped perfectly for one-swipe-and-done – and it lasted *so* well.
Even when eating and drinking coffee. My only tripe was that it dried *really* quickly, which meant smudges were tricky to clear up. But overall., I'm fan-enough to wear it to every festive party in my calendar.

The easy, buttery texture of this made this a treat to apply, with it packing a pigmented punch and drying down quickly. I tried the shade Fascinating, a gorgeous velvety orangey brown with delicious copper undertones that were brought out after pressing your lips together.
I love a beauty gimmick, especially one that doesn't mean a compromise on quality or comfort, with this applying just as well as any other liquid lipstick would. And though I don't pretend to understand the magic behind how they manage to make this glitter once you press your lips together, I'm most definitely here for it, with it feeling like a luxe update of Ciate's Glitter Flip. This makes for an adorable festive lip, though at £39 this is definitely a beauty investment.

With the festive season approaching, this Dior Liquid Lipstick couldn't have come at a better time. I tried the shade Magical, a deep plum colour with purple and blue-toned shimmer. 'Magical' is an apt name because the effect this lipstick gives is pure magic in a bottle. After applying it to my lips, I rubbed them together and could see the specks of shimmer appearing in front of my eyes – it's so cool.
I did find it a little tricky to get neat lines considering you have to rub your lips together, but I'm willing to forgive that because of the wow factor. If you're the type of person who likes to make a statement in party season, this lipstick is for you. And if you have a makeup-lover on your gifting list then this will seriously impress them.
