Starbucks Drinks Are Only $3 on Thursday

Starbucks lovers are getting more savings to ring in 2024!

The company announced that it’s celebrating the new year by offering customers $3 drinks on Thursday.

The deal will be available for Starbucks rewards members, who can order any grande drink or smaller for the sweet price. Coffee shop visitors can get one discounted drink from noon until 6 p.m. 

The offer will be available on the Starbucks app, and rewards members can either order online or walk in at a location and have a barista apply the deal at check-out. The deal excludes canned or bottled beverages and alcohol.

If Starbucks Rewards members miss out on the Thursday discount, they have another option for the weekend: the brand is offering a buy one get one promotion on drinks Saturday and Sunday from noon until 6 p.m.

Drinks available for the discount include Starbucks’ new Iced Hazelnut Oatmilk Shaken Espresso, Pistachio Cream Cold Brew and Pistachio Latte, which were introduced to the menu earlier this month.

There are some new food offerings this season, as well. The new Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes are available on the winter menu while supplies last. They are made of cage-free eggs, diced potatoes, cheddar cheese, spinach and chives.

Another short-run offering on the winter menu is the new Vanilla Bean Custard Danish, which is a pastry filled with rich vanilla bean custard.

Along with the tasty new options, Starbucks is expanding their “Bring Your Own Cup” rule. Customers can now use their own personal cup at the drive-thru and for mobile orders. At the drive-thru, customers can simply tell the barista when they order that they brought their own cup. 

When ordering with a reusable cup on the mobile app, customers choose the “customization” button and select “personal cup.” Then, they can order a drink normally. Once in store, they tell the barista their order in the pickup area and give them their cup. Customers who bring their own cup get a ten cent discount and Starbucks Rewards members can get 25 bonus stars.
