Audley End is one of England’s most magnificent country houses, retaining much of it’s original Jacobean splendour. With beautiful grounds to explore, including an impressive formal garden and a new stables experience complete with an exhibition detailing life on the estate in the 1880s, a visit to Audley End House is a fantastic family day out.

The English Heritage Picnic Concerts are a fantastic addition to this spectacular venue; the beautiful house and gardens create a stunning setting in which to watch performances from world-class artists. All Audley End concerts end with a spectacular firework finale, and this year's line up features:
Saturday 31st July – Jools Holland with special guest Alison Moyet
Jools Holland is the UK’s best-loved bandleader and pianist. Dynamic live performers, Jools and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra are famous for their unique and exuberant big band sound. Jools welcomes Alison Moyet as a very special guest for an exciting show.
 
Sunday 1st August – Last Night of the Audley End Proms starring Lesley Garrett
Lesley Garrett is one of the most famous performers in British opera; a celebrated star of television as well as the stage. She will be joined by magnificent tenor Wynne Evans and the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra for this triumphant finale. The evening will feature a rousing Spitfire display – marking the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain - and all of your Last Night favourites including Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory.
